The Last Great Day of the Feast!

It cannot be denied, that the Last Great Day of the Feast is my most favorite. There was a time when Trumpets would have fell into that slot as it pictures the return of Messiah for His Elect, but it also deals with great astronomical and geological upheavals among other things.

I suppose that since geology has always been a forte of mine would supply my reason for adhering to Yom Teruah which enables me in being better descriptive. But as I have grown in age as well as spiritual maturity, the Last Great Day has now come into my mind as favored. Why?

Well a number of reasons, but primarily due to the fact that it is as the icing on the cake for the final fulfillment of Yahweh’s plan for the saving of humanity. It is humanity’s last opportunity, at least for those who have yet to have that opportunity, to become at-one with the Elohim.

But it is very bittersweet for it is also a picture of when those who have rejected their day of salvation will be judged by the books as guilty and will be cast alive into the lake of fire and suffers what the scriptures call “the second death.”

Such does give a sense of finality for these individuals as well. But along with their finality and the finality of Yahweh’s plan, the Last Great Day is also when death is put to death!

It is when all that will be saved will be saved, when all of creation has been restored by Messiah as He returns it all back to the Father in its perfected state as it was in before it was corrupted by the rebellion of the satan thru humankind and thus creation was cursed. And thus it is also then when the curse will be cursed as what began on Passover has been fulfilled at last!

There will be no more rebellion, no more satans, no more demons, no more sin, no more tears and pain. No more hospitals or prisons or war or anything that would do harm or hurt for the creation will finally enter into the eternal rest of which the Shabbath is but a mere shadow.

We all will then take our first step into eternity, tabernacling with Yahweh into perpetuity when time shall be no more, for we shall enter into the time zone of the Elohim.

Beforehand only a few who have come forth in what the scriptures call the first resurrection have tabernacled with the Elohim, but by the time of the fulfillment of this last set apart day, all who are left will also then tabernacle and dwell with Elohim as well.

For these reasons and much more is why the Last Great Day is my favorite among all of Yahweh’s set apart days.

Revelation 20:5 “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”

After the 1000 year reign of Messiah, which is what the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot represents initially for the set apart ones, there is another resurrection. Billions will come forth from the grave.

These dead will stand before their Creator. This couldn’t include true believers of today and of the yesteryears, as they have already come forth at the 7^th trumpet at the return of Messiah (Matthew 24:29-31; 1^st Corinthians 15:50-52; 1^st Thessalonians 4:16,17) which is the 1^st resurrection according to Revelation 20:4,5. The faithful have been tabernacling with the Elohim already for a thousand years before this final resurrection.

Most of those in this last resurrection must be those who have died in ignorance, in their blindness throughout the ages. But there will also come forth those who have rejected their day of salvation. So we are looking at least at two groups in this last resurrection.

If there is a first resurrection then such defines the fact that there is at least a 2^nd resurrection. By the very fact that these texts of scriptures are portraying resurrections from the grave should put to side the erroneous doctrines that the dead are already in the lake of fire hell or are enjoying a heavenly bliss. No, they are in their graves awaiting these resurrections. Judgment comes at the time of our resurrection as we shall see.

So at the White Throne of Judgment resurrection are those who did not live again until the thousand years were finished as we read in Revelation 20:5 “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished…...,” meaning that they ARE DEAD if they do not live again until after the thousand years. (Not alive, living in the torments of a fiery hell as we have been taught)

Some of these in this resurrection may have been dead for many thousands of years. Some have died in their spiritual blindness as the uncalled of Yahweh, never having the opportunity in their lifetimes to receive salvation. But then there are also those who knew the truth and with eyes wide, hearts and ears circumcised, openly and knowingly rejected the covenant, rejected Messiah, rejected their day of salvation. At the least these two groups will come forth in this resurrection.

In John 7:37-58, after observing the Feast of Tabernacles, Yahshua the Messiah made this statement on the Last Great Day: "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yahshua stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

The Last Great Day pictures the final judgment of man on earth, known as the Great White Throne judgment. But it is not just a time in which those who reject Him will be destroyed in the lake of fire hell, but it is a time in which all who have never known will be shown the Truth and we believe that most will thirst for knowing Him and Messiah shall give them drink and they shall live! Then they can sukkot or tabernacle with the Elohim as those in the 1^st resurrection had been so doing for over a thousand years by the time of this second resurrection.

It is the final and in all reality the first chance for those who lived in ignorance of the ways of Yahweh before He completely and utterly cleanses and restores this earth and relocates the throne room in Heaven down to this earth.

Millions and billions will be resurrected to learn Yahweh’s truth for the very first time. This we believe includes many in the harlot churches of today, who are yet carnal and unrepentant. They have never been converted to the Truth and while still in their blindness, will not presently repent and obey the righteous Torah law of Yahweh and thereby be faithful unto Messiah by the indwelling Spirit.

They have received a false spirit that teaches them rebellion and disobedience. They presently see no need to keep the commandments. Messiah openly speaks of these when He said that with their lips they show Me much praise but with their hearts they are far from me.

Previously only a select few known as the "firstfruits" have been allowed to understand the plan of salvation throughout the ages. Showing that Yahweh is only calling a select few out of each generation to one day rule and reign with Messiah in His Kingdom. They are the only ones to have entered into the Re-newed Covenant while everyone else has remained in blindness without ever receiving the call of Yahweh and most of them have died and went into the grave waiting for this Great White Throne of judgment.

Matthew 13:9-11 “The one having ears to hear, let him hear. And coming near, the disciples said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables? And answering, He said to them, Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it has not been given to those.”

It takes having a hearing ear to understand, but that is not being giving to the whole of mankind throughout history, but only to the chosen ones. Messiah openly says that we don’t choose Him but that He it is that chooses us. (John 15:16) It is the Elohim that gives a person the hearing ear and the seeing eye to understand the mysteries of the kingdom. (Proverbs 20:12)

Without that ability, a person remains in their blindness to the Truth. They do not have an ear to hear….yet. Messiah openly states that certain people will not believe because they cannot believe. (John 12:37-40) They cannot believe because they have been blinded and they are kept in that blinded state so that they cannot believe and be converted.

That is a very hard to be understood statement considering that most are taught that all we have to do is show a person the truth and from there they can make their decision for salvation or not. But instead it is all of Yahweh, He chooses to reveal Himself to some or He chooses to keeps a person in blindness. And that is what the text from John 12:37-40 is showing us.

But then we read in 1^st Corinthians 2:6-8 that there is a hidden wisdom, a mystery of Yahweh that is not being revealed to just anyone. In fact it was so hidden from those who executed Messiah that had they known it they would not have done so!

Therefore they had to remain in their blindness in order for Messiah to die for the Torahlessness of humanity….including them while yet in their blindness! It is a mystery that is hidden from the majority of mankind until their day of salvation.

So His identity was hidden from the Jews so that they would kill the Passover Lamb of Yahweh and begin the plan of purchasing back the creation from the thief and adversary. But this same hidden wisdom remains a mystery to the majority of mankind even up into our day.

Ephesians 4:17,18 “This I say therefore, and testify in Yahweh, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of Elohim through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.”

Now I must admit I’m not a big fan of Shaul’s writings as I believe that most of them have been so redacted and have had so many interpolations that it cannot be trusted fully. But wherein his writings do not contradict or supersede the Torah and the prophets, I will accept them.

But in all actuality, any of Christianity’s new testament writings must be judged by the Torah for accuracy. The Torah is the scriptures.

Very plainly we see Shaul showing us that some have their understanding darkened (as in blindness and not being able to see) and are separated from the life of Elohim. But then he gives the reason why. You read those two verses again and let me ask the question: are these people being described in these two verses blind because they are ignorant or are they ignorant because they are spiritually blind????? How you answer that question will squarely place you in one of two camps of thought.

Most within Christianity will say that a person is blinded because they are ignorant and so we must teach them so that they can see and accept “Jesus” as they say for if not they are going to HELL!

That is what I grew up believing for that is all I was ever taught previous to Yahweh beginning the process of setting me apart. I was taught that all we have to do is educate a person about the gospel (ie; the godspell or spell of the gods, a heathen term) and they must then make a choice to choose “Jesus” or if not they are just going to burn baby burn in eternal Hell fire!

But you must understand that if you really look at those two verses you will see that a person is not blind because they are ignorant or uneducated to salvation. But that they are ignorant because of their spiritual blindness.

If you have been reading and following the scriptures being quoted thus far you should know that Yahweh is the one who gives a person a spiritual seeing eye so as not to be blinded. He is the one who gives them a hearing ear so that they can spiritually hear. You have seen that Yahweh kept people in blindness so that they could not be converted and thus to be saved! You have seen that flesh and blood cannot reveal Yahweh to a person. You cannot be educated by human beings (flesh and blood) and suddenly understand the mysteries of the kingdom! No we saw that it is Yahweh only that reveals the truth to a person. This attribute of belief can only come from Yahweh. It is something that cannot be learned and taught by human intelligence. (Matthew 16:13-17)

And thus there have been billions of individuals who have died without ever having the truth revealed to them. There are literally billions of people in the graves right now.

Some have estimated over 60 billion people have lived on this earth since the days of the re-creation of Genesis chapter one. But for a very few out of every generation, most have been left in their blind ignorance and have went on into the grave without salvation.

Are they burning in the lake of fire for all of eternity right now to no fault of their own just because Yahweh so left them in their sins blinded and unable to convert?

You know what though, that is what most are saying. In fact most of the Sunday churches are preaching that most have and are going to end up in the lake of fire Hell. But again…if they have never had their opportunity for salvation how can Yahweh in all righteousness judge them eternally for something they are unaware of?

2^nd Peter 3:9 “Yahweh is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

He is longsuffering and is NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH. There are some who teach that Yahweh only has a certain number that He is choosing and that He chooses to send the remainder of mankind to perish in the lake of fire. But we have just read that He is not WIILLING for this to happen. In otherwords it is NOT in His will or plans to just keep people in their spiritual blindness and one day just burn them up even if they had no understanding and were ignorant of the truth. And it was up to Him to reveal the truth to them and to unblind them. And so He will! Otherwise He is an unjust judge.

Daniel 7:9-10

"I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened"

These "books" are mentioned in Revelation 20:12 as well, also speaking of this White Throne Judgment:

Rev. 20:12 "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Elohim; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

These previously unsaved people who have never known the Truth will finally be given the chance to know and understand the Truth and to keep the everlasting Covenant will have their chance. They will be taught and judged by Yahshua and helped by the set apart ones who came up in the first resurrection.

The book of life is a book in which those who are found repentant and obedient and faithful will have their names written. They are the ones to be saved from the lake of Fire Hell and the 2^nd death.

Malachi 3:16,17 “Then they that feared Yahweh spake often one to another: and Yahweh hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared Yahweh, and that thought upon His Name. And they shall be Mine, saith Yahweh of hosts, in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.”

The other books mentioned in Revelation 20:12 can be nothing other than the books of Torah scripture.

The law of Yahweh is the standard by which all will be judged. Remember the (Torah) law defines what sin is according to 1^st John 3:4.

Only those who were found written in the Book of Life will be in the first resurrection, which by this time had already occurred well over a thousand years previous to these verses.

So why would the Book of Life ever be opened again if not for the purpose of allowing new names to be written into it of those found worthy at the time of the Great White Throne of Judgment?

After repentance and baptism you are to go on unto perfection to maturity. We are going to be judged from that time on with how we have lived our lives in concert with the Truth and knowledge that has been so gracefully given unto us.

2^nd Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

At this time, I personally think that the judgment seat of Messiah will occur near to the marriage supper of the lamb when we shall be given our rewards or our offices and duties in the coming Kingdom. It will be a cleansing process.

But we need to understand that it is the called out ones throughout the ages who are presently being judged for the things we have done in this body, whether good or bad.

1^st Peter 4:17-18 “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of Yahweh: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the good news of Yahweh? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the unrighteous and the sinner appear?”

So just as had been said, it is the members of the called out ones, the set apart ones who are being judged presently. All else are not being judged concerning eternal things yet. Don’t get me wrong, there are judgments even now upon this world and its inhabitants and even worse judgments yet to come, but they are not judgments pertaining to eternity.

Everyone else will have their day of judgment and then will they be faced with either the choice of eternal life or the choice of destruction in the lake of fire to be determined at the Great White Throne of Judgment.

Let’s just see one segment of people who will come up in this last resurrection to have their understanding opened for the first time!

Ezekiel 37:1-14 “The hand of Yahweh was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Yahweh Elohim, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh. Thus saith Yahweh Elohim unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am Yahweh. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Yahweh Elohim; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the Yahweh, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I Yahweh have spoken it, and performed it, saith Yahweh.”

Realize that this is not just Yahudah the Jews but this is the whole house of Israel which unknowingly to most includes those of Caucasian decent that after the Assyrian captivity did not return to their homeland but migrated north and west and settled in western Europe, South Africa, Australia and the United States and Canada. The true Israel of today are the descendants of Joseph by his two sons Manasseh and Ephraim through which Jacob, who’s name was changed to Israel, pronounced His name to be upon those two boys and their descendants as having the birthright promises of the greatest wealth of blessings of any nation(s). That is a teaching for another day, but those two boys are primarily found in Great Britain and the United States of America. WE are physical Israel, but we are a Gentile nation spiritually.

These people in Ezekiel’s vision thought they were lost and without hope. They thought they had just been resurrected to be cast into the lake of fire Hell. They may have heard the preachers tell them that if they don’t accept their Jesus right now, if you die you will be cast into the lake of fire hell forever and ever.

But time has not passed for them since they were put into their graves. The scriptures state that the dead know nothing and they have no thoughts. They do not know that time has passed, possibly thousands of years. They died and immediately without the passing of time to them, they awoke and were coming back to life although some may have been in the grave for many thousands of years!

But Yahweh says that He is going to put His spirit within them. In otherwords remove the blinders that they might see and understand the truth. Then they for the first time will know that He is Yahweh.

The Messiah they had fallen for taught them thru his false ministers to observe the false religious holidays, to eat unclean meats and that they don’t have to keep the commandments, just love Jesus and love each other.

During their lifetimes they have rejected the plan of salvation. They wouldn’t keep the 7^th day Sabbath, they wouldn’t keep the true set apart days, they wouldn’t observe the scriptural diet of clean meats and plants, they would instead reject the law of commandments.

Instead they followed after their own hearts and their own will rejecting the will of Yahweh. They may have done many wonderful works but Yahshua said in Matthew chapter 7 that He just did not know them because of their iniquity (Torahlessness/ lawlessness).

Why? Because up and until the Great White Throne of Judgment they did not know Him either! Many of them had fallen for the other Messiah, the other good news and had received a false spirit one in which allows disobedience and sin.

He hadn’t called them yet, He hadn’t opened their eyes and ears to understand yet. He hadn’t yet put His true and real spirit within them. But at the Great White Throne of Judgment they will be made to understand. They will get their chance, their first chance at salvation. Then if they receive and not reject that chance, they will have their names written in the book of life.

We are not told how long they will have to accept the truth but some believe it will be a normal lifetime.

Revelation 20:15 “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Whosoever is a wonderful word at this junction of time. It means that some will and some won’t. Those who came forth in the 1^st resurrection at the beginning of the kingdom reign of Messiah are not even in question here in verse 15.

The second death, which means to perish in the lake of fire, has no power over those of the 1^st resurrection. (Revelation 20:6) So this is speaking of those who come forth in this second resurrection at the time of the Great White Throne Judgment. It is the rest of the dead. (Revelation 20: 5) And at that time the call is going out…but not to just a select few, but instead now at that time the door of salvation is open to all!

Whosoever will let him come… will come to pass (Revelation 22:17) which fulfills Messiah’s words that we read previously in John 7:37-58.

But also during this resurrection at the Last Great Day, at the Great White Throne of Judgment there will also stand those who have lived and died having the blinders removed, having understood the truth and yet made the willful decision that they were instead going to live a life apart from the ways of the Elohim.

There are some right now in this present life are in this situation and if repentance is not found they will awake to find themselves being judged by the books of the law having their names at one time written in the book of life, but it was blotted out due to their practice of transgressing Torah and thus rejecting Messiah. Messiah is the Torah the living Word! Reject Torah, you reject Messiah.

Revelation 3:5 “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

It requires overcoming the sin nature. If a person has their names written in the book of life, that name can be blotted out if they do not overcome and remain faithful.

There will be some who will be raised back to life at the time of the Great White Throne judgment who will be judged by their works that they lived with eyes wide open, blinders removed, having hearing ears and yet they still rejected the truth and became unfaithful during their lives. They will be cast into the lake of fire Hell and there they will perish in the second death.

Those who participate in the second death do not have another opportunity for salvation, for there is no resurrection from the dead if we suffer the second death.

Those who are really in danger of the perishing in the lake of fire Hell are those who know the truth and yet make the decision not to remain in the truth. They practice unrighteousness and follow after the carnal nature even after knowing the Truth. They are not blinded to the truth and thus they are not ignorant. Yahweh has revealed Himself to them and they make the willful decision not to keep His ways.

These are the ones who will suffer the second death, not the ones who are or have previously died not having understanding being ignorant due to the blindness of their hearts. I have always said that it is a dangerous thing to have the Truth revealed to a person, for they must either then accept it or deny it. It would have been better that they had not known the Truth than to have it revealed unto them only to reject it!

But for those who overcome. For those who endure unto the End. For those who remain faithful even unto death, the Last Great Day will be a day of wonders and blessings beyond any and all imagination.

It will be the Last Great Day. It will be an eternal day. It will be a Great Day! On that day after all has been said and done concerning mankind.

The books will then be closed and all who will be saved are saved and the remainder will perish, then the Elohim will begin making a new heaven and a new earth. It will be like the Garden of Eden all over again as Yahweh’s rest will be restored.

The Father Himself, the great El Yahweh will move the throne room from the heavens down to planet earth! We will be in the presence of both members of the Elohim, but we also by that time will be immortal members of the Elohim. What a Great Day that shall be. All that will be saved will be saved and we will tabernacle with Yahweh for eternity.

In the beginning Yahweh’s rest existed. It was a perfect world. It was a sinless world, a world of peace and harmony between man and His Elohim and even between the wildlife.

But sin entered the picture and the world was corrupted. And thus the curse of the law was enacted, the penalty of death. And so death reigned from the time of Adam even unto our day.

But once the Last Great Day comes, the Elohim will make all things new. The Rest and peace of Yahweh will be restored. It will be the true Shabbath day without ending.

1^st Corinthians 15:21-28 “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah’s at his coming. Then at the end, when He (Yahshua Messiah) shall have delivered up the kingdom to Yahweh, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For He hath put all things under His feet. But when He saith all things are put under Him, it is manifest that He is accepted, which did put all things under Him. And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto Him (Father Yahweh) that put all things under Him (Messiah), that Yahweh may be all in all.”

The Last Great Day. A time in which Messiah will have restored all things back to its perfected state of sinlessness as the curse (Revelation 22:3) will be removed and the Rest and the peace of Yahweh will once again be known throughout the all of creation. The true Shabbath.

Let us be glad in this day and rejoice in the salvation of Yahweh and of His son Yahshua our Messiah and soon coming King.
